Thermal weed control with the Keckex Komex M13 500

The RECO eTrac can be used all year round for a wide range of applications. For thermal weed control, a special steam and hot water unit is now available: the Keckex Komex M13 500. You simply place this unit on the platform of the machine, after which you can work the surface with one of the various hand lances.

The Keckex method

The Komex M13-500 chemical-free weed control unit works with a combination of steam and hot water. These are heated up to a maximum of 130 °C in the generator and then led to the surface to be treated via a heat-resistant hose and a hand lance. The high temperatures destroy the cell structure of the plant and also reach the roots, where the plant can no longer absorb water and dies.

Also for chewing gum and graffiti

As an extra option, the M13 500 can be adapted to a version with high pressure pump. This makes the unit suitable for the chemical-free and effective removal of chewing gum and graffiti.

Quiet and versatile

Thanks to its electric drive, the Keckex Komex has a very low noise level during operation. It is therefore extremely suitable for use in and around busy places such as shopping centres and business complexes. The hand lances are available in various shapes and sizes, allowing them to be optimally matched to different applications.
